Proflex NFC

Traditional material (powder/liquid) to make thermoplastic partials and nightguards. Clear thermoset resin, for nitghtguards, which can be used as a sustitute to IMPAK. When warmed up in water the appliance becomes flexible.

It can also be used over a vacuum form splint/dual laminate to build up a rigid occlusal surface.

Options:

• Proflex NFC clear - resin - 960 g
• Proflex NFC liquid - 240 g
• Proflex NFC clear - super econo kit : (1 x 960 g Resin + 3 x 240 gLiquid + Plasticware for measuring)

Directions:

Ratio: 1 part liquid and 2 parts powder mixture (ex: 15ml liquid to 30g powder).
Mix slowly to avoid creating bubbles. Wait for doughy state to trial pack or use pour technique while in liquid state. Put in water bath (not exceeding 126 degrees F/ 52 degrees C) for 1 hour or put in a pressure pot (not exceeding 126 degrees F) for 45 min. at 20psi.

Cool for 15 min under cold running water before removing.

Cloudiness of the material is normal after removal from the flask. Becomes clear after a few days.

Polish with pumice and compound.
